Because the aircraft was X-02 Wyvern, fictional fighter from Ace Combat series.
And the mecha dragon was inspired by transformers 2007 film.
That main idea was, what if X-02 aircraft 'Wyvern' able to transform into a metal 'wyvern'? And then become this one.
It's took me very, very long to finish. The longest one of my life! And the first time to paint such things, sky, plane, mechanical...Afterall, Good or not, I'm happy to see this work finished. =v=,,
